Thanks to the digital and technological progress, you can find a chemistry problem solver for any occasion. Conceptual learning and deriving equations is the true way to learn.Chemistry Problem Solver Online | Chemistry Homework Help | If those strange equations a chemistry teacher writes on a chalkboard drive you crazy, there's no need in torturing yourself. You slowly lose the rote memorization when you leave school, so it truely is useless. It hasn’t made me any less of a chemist because if I need to know the exact equation, I can always look it up. Not gonna lie, I used a TI-89 and always stored all the equations just in case. So yea, maybe downloading a program that does the entire problem for you (this is how my high school algebra teacher taught us actually with programs) should be banned, but I thought most programs were moving towards giving equation sheets so the useless rote memorization didn’t happen? I don’t remember a single equation from undergrad (well how could I forget pv=nrt), nor have I ever been in a situation where I couldn’t just google the entire equation. They should instead be taught how the equations were derived, and be able to look them up on the internet. Nothing against you directly, but still making students memorize equations has to be the biggest waste of time in the education system.
